Astec Cool Roof Technology

As a leader in the roofing industry, Seagate offers high quality products like Astec, a lightweight cool roof technology designed mostly for commercial buildings. This innovative multi-layered system is fluid-applied, creating a seamless membrane that outperforms ordinary roofing systems. The cool-roof technology saves on cooling costs because the building does not have to work as hard to cool itself.

Astec is also a corrosion barrier, protecting your roof from acid rain and airborne corrosives. It can be reapplied, saving 40-60% of roof replacement costs. With a 10-year renewable warranty, this system offered by Seagate gives a high level of protection and energy efficiency.

In addition to extended life, and weather-tight sealing, ASTEC Exterior Wall membranes will also add superior ceramic insulating qualities to virtually any existing wall material. EPDM Rubber Roofing

Seagate offers Mule-Hide Standard Reinforced EPDM, a high performance reinforced rubber membrane that stands up to tearing, impacts, punctures and normal roof traffic. The EPDM membrane compensates for thermal shock and building movement. EPDM membranes provide excellent resistance to ozone and aging.

Fire retardant (FR) membranes are specially formulated to inhibit spread of flame and meet or exceed code body testing criteria for fire retardant roofing membranes. These can be installed as a new elastomeric roofing membrane in Mechanically Attached and Fully Adhered roofing systems. Seagate offers a factory warranty up to 15 years.
